The Amalfi Coast offers more things to see and do than we can comprehensively list and it depends on what you want your holiday to be: relaxing in the sun by the sea, eating, walking, cultural & historical or musical. Activities range from the Grotto Smeraldo, to the famous views from Ravello and to the volcano Vesuvius and Pompeii. Here is a small roundup of what is available.

 

Beach

The beach is 600 steps away! This takes 15 minutes to walk down to the beach and walking up completely depends on your fitness level! Alternatively it is 5 minutes drive to the beach parking. There is a choice of two beaches, one public (the Marina) and one private (Capo de Conca). There are various other beaches in close proximity such as in Priano.

 

Sightseeing

The main highlights of the Amalfi Coast - Positano, Ravello, Capri, Amalfi, Pompeii - are all easily reachable by car or public transport.

 

Nightlife

Bars & restaurants can be found everywhere but the owner's reccommendation are: The best watering hole is the ancient square of Atrani, the village next door to Amalfi. Nighclub - L'Africana in Praiano, the nighclub on the water that is in a grotto, set up in the 1960s by Margot Fonteyn.

 

Eating

Conca has it's own specialities: pasta with zuchini, seafood pasta, scialatielli (hand-made pasta), sfogliatelle (pastries). Within 50 metres of the villa, there is a local restaurant where you can eat fresh fish or have a pizza and a beer for under 8 Euro's. There is a small supermarket within 50 metres. Shopping

Our tips for the best things to buy from the Amalfi Coast:
